Julington Elementary School fifth-graders created multi-cultural posters using PrintShop. The student work samples allowed them to select pictures from around the world and write a greeting to viewers. The use of technology helped the students understand the relationship between points on a map and famous landmarks around the world.
Asheboro MIddle Schoolers created Social Studies posters using Glogster. The assignment is a sample newspaper that provides details about the Stamp Act and Tea Party before the American Revolutionary War. Pictures depicting the time in American history and a letter to the editor are provided. The activity helped the students understand the events surrounding the American Revolution.
